2015 LCA+U Challenge

LCA+U has students work with campus staff and sustainability life-cycle assessment software to identify solutions or improvements to campus operations that have quantifiably lower environmental impacts. For more information on this inititive, please see this page.


2014 Inter-Chapter Challenge

The second ESW ICC was hosted at the 2014 Annual Conference at Northwestern University. Teams were challenged to design and build a boat that operated free of fossil energy. For more information on this event, please see this page.


2012 Inter-Chapter Challenge

The first annual ESW Inter-Chapter Challenge (ICC) was hosted at the 2012 ESW National Conference at ESW-UCSD. The challenge was to design a remote-controlled car that utilizes two sustainable technologies: solar cells and super-capacitors. For more information about the competition, click here.


SunEdison/Autodesk Projects

During the 2011-2012 academic year with generous support from SunEdison and Autodesk, several ESW chapters were awarded with outstanding proposals in two areas: Innovative Application of a Solar Kiosk and Innovative Renewable Microgrid Applications.
