Stephen is a Test Engineer at Viasat, Inc, a global communications company that provides systems and services to commercial and government sectors. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Virginia in Electrical Engineering. He has a special interest in how architecture, design, and technology can reduce environmental impact across the entire life cycle of a project or material. During his time at UVA, Stephen was a team lead on a modular housing project that looked to investigate the energy savings and decreased impact on the environment that modular homes provide versus traditional site-built homes. He also was part of several teams that researched the energy efficiency of academic buildings and how current and future methods could be designed and implemented. His hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
