As the Program Manager for the Resilient Community Design Challenge, Jordan creates the framework in which the competition is held. This process includes developing the scoring criteria, bringing in judges from our network of technical experts, and providing guidance to participating teams throughout the competition. Mr. Crolly believes that design competitions like this are crucial for providing our members with the technical and communication skills necessary to push the sustainability envelope in their communities throughout their careers.
Originally from the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, Mr. Crolly graduated from Penn State in 2013 with a degree in Energy Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering. Jordan now lives in Los Angeles, where he provides energy engineering consulting services to the public sector, particularly in the fields of solar energy and energy storage. Part-time, Jordan is also pursuing a master’s degree in solar energy through Penn State’s World Campus.
Jordan has a passion for all things sustainable and one day hopes to own a business with a focus on designing and building full-spectrum sustainable communities. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing sports & games, listening to music, exploring the outdoors, riding his bike, and watching movies.
