Jessica is an environmental engineer at Pare Corporation in Lincoln, RI. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island's (URI) International Engineering Program (IEP) in May 2015 with a B.S. in civil engineering and a B.A in Spanish. During her time at URI Jessica spent 3 years as a member of ESW, serving as the president of the URI chapter for the 2014-15 school year and project manger from 2013-2015 for the group's ongoing clean water initiatives in San Mateo Ixtatan, Guatemala. She also completed a 6-month internship with environmental engineering firm, Lur Geroa in Irutzun, Spain during her IEP year abroad. It is through these international projects that Jessica gained a passion for sustainability and using her inter-cultural skills to promote sustainable engineering practices on a global scale. She is excited to continue working with ESW on the national scale and to use her experiences with the URI chapter to benefit other ESW chapters in the USA.
