Chapter Relations Coordinator
Ananna Anu is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing her Masters in Structural Engineering. Currently, she is working as a Bridge & Special Structures Engineer-in-Training at CP&Y. She first got involved in ESW her freshman year as an undergraduate student at UT. During her time at UT, she served in the ESW-UT officer board for 3 years, including as the Annual Conference Chair for the 2017 ESW Annual Conference held at Austin, Texas.
Ananna has been passionate about the environment since early high school, when she joined the Student Conservation Association to participate in conservation projects in the Houston area. She chose to study civil engineering in order to push the heavy infrastructure and transportation industry to more sustainable practices, especially concerning the selection and manufacturing processes for the materials that make up the world’s buildings, roads, and bridges. She is thrilled to join the Leadership Team as a Chapter Relations Coordinator and cannot wait to guide and foster good relationships with chapter leaders in the Wild West Region.
