We love seeing all the great work our chapters do, and we want to hear about and see the results of that work. This year, at the Annual Conference, we'll be honoring our outstanding members and chapters as well as celebrating the results of the fourth annual ESW Photo Contest! If you want to show off your chapter or one of your favorite ESW members, please consider submitting a nomination for one of these awards. The deadline for all nominations is 11:59 PM ET on Friday, March 24, and we'll announce the results at the Annual Conference on Saturday, April 8th.
Outstanding Member and Chapter Nominations
If you feel like your chapter has excelled in the three core areas of ESW - projects, education, and community, nominate yourselves here. Likewise, if you know of an outstanding ESW member who contributed significantly to your chapter, please consider nominating them for an award here. Both nomination forms require a bit of writing, but your chapter is worth it!
All nominations will be reviewed, and the awards will be announced at the Saturday banquet of our Annual Conference. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Chapter Relations Director Chris Thai at cthai [at] eswusa.org. Thanks for helping us honor the work that ESW members and chapters are doing!
We saw some great pictures in the contest last year - check out the results here! We're excited to see more photos of your chapters working on sustainable projects in your communities this year.
Each chapter may submit a set of up to 5 photos. To submit a set, email full resolution copies or links to arecinella [at] eswusa.org before 11:59PM ET on Friday, March 24th.
Please note that the ESW Leadership Team will retain all submitted photos. Submission grants ESW a non-exclusive right to use or edit any or all photos for any purpose ESW deems fit, including but not limited to use in promotional materials and other media. By submitting photos, you release the ESW Leadersip Team from any and all liability related to dissemination or distribution of submitted photos and any alteration, distortion or illusionary effect, whether intentional or otherwise, in connection with said use. Submitting chapters should have the consent of individuals appearing in the submitted photographs to use said photographs.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Best Project Photos - given to the submission that best portrays a successful ESW project (or projects).
- Best Education Photos - given to the submission that best portrays ESW members educating people about engineering and sustainability.
- Best Community Photos - given to the submission that best portrays an ESW chapter community.
Winners will be also announced at the Saturday banquet and will receive a prize pack of ESW merch!
